Our Policy is to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all of our employees, and to provide such information, training and supervision as they need for this purpose. However, if the duties that the employees perform affect their health in any way this must be brought to the attention of Joe Hunnam. We accept our responsibility for the health and safety of others who may be affected by our activities as far as is practical.

We shall ensure as far as reasonably practical, to use materials and equipment that have a reducing affect on the environment. Any waste produced shall be managed effectively.

In addition, we also ensure that the following practices and methods are adopted when carrying out our duties:

Responsibilities and rules are understood by our employees prior to any work being carried out.

Fire procedures are identified at Customer premises to ensure correct exit from buildings.

Safe procedures are adopted especially when using ladders, company vehicles and any scaffolding.

►

First Aid equipment is available for employees and the recording of accidents takes place.

►

Risk Assessments are conducted to ensure safe practices are established.

►

Appropriate Training for safety is conducted.

►

Appropriate method statements are identified for work performed.

►

All employees conform to the requirements of the A1 Cleaning Services Health and Safety General Safety Policy covering detailed procedures and methods.
